Privacy Policy — HEX: You Are It

This policy covers the game HEX: You Are It ("the Game") only. The KORP VPN service is covered by a separate policy.

1. Who we are

The Game is developed and published by Korp Systems L.L.C-FZ, registered in the United Arab Emirates at Meydan Road, Meydan Grandstand, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai. We are the data controller for the data described below.

2. What the Game collects

• Steam account identifier (SteamID) and public profile name — to identify you in a match, show your name to the other players, and keep your progress attached to the correct account.
• Match and progression data — rounds played, match results, character selection, and whether you are currently carrying the Hex. The Hex persists between matches, so this state is stored against your SteamID.
• Connection data — your IP address and connection quality, used to place you in a match and to diagnose lag and disconnects.
• Text and voice chat — the Game includes in-game text and voice chat. Chat is transmitted live to the other players in your match. We do not record or store voice chat. Text chat may be retained briefly to handle abuse reports.
• Crash and diagnostic reports — technical information about errors and performance, so we can fix them.

3. What the Game does not collect

We do not collect your real name, home address, date of birth, phone number, or payment details. All purchases are processed by Valve through Steam — we never see your card or bank information. The Game does not track you across other websites or apps, and we do not build advertising profiles.

4. Why we process this data

To run online matches, keep your progress between sessions, keep play fair, respond to abuse reports, and improve the Game. Where the law requires a legal basis, ours is the performance of our agreement with you (providing the Game) and our legitimate interest in keeping it working, safe and fair.

5. Who it is shared with

• Other players in your match — your Steam profile name, your chosen character, and anything you say in text or voice chat.
• Valve Corporation — as operator of the Steam platform. Valve's own policy governs your Steam account: store.steampowered.com/privacy_agreement
• Infrastructure providers — hosting and crash-reporting services acting on our instructions and bound to protect the data.

We do not sell your data.

6. How long we keep it

Match and progression data is kept while your account remains active in the Game and is deleted within 90 days of a verified deletion request. Diagnostic logs are kept up to 90 days. Text chat retained for moderation is kept up to 30 days, unless attached to an open abuse report.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete the data we hold about you, and you can object to processing. Email support@korpvpn.com and include your SteamID so we can locate your records. We reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Children

The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Voice and text chat — a note for parents

The Game allows players to speak and type to each other in real time. Communication between players is not pre-screened by us and may include content we have not reviewed. Chat can be muted in the Game's settings.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International transfers

The Game's servers and service providers may be located outside your country. Where data leaves your region we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. For significant changes we will also post a notice on the Game's Steam page.
